Both locals and tourists succumb to the enchanting and perilous environment we call home. From the mountains to the sea, you and me both know it can happen to anyone no matter how careful. But how much do we really know about the danger and why do we take the risk? While shooting a preview for a story many people standing at the Lanai lookout (the first lookout heading towards Hālona Blowhole and Sandy Beach) were very vocal with each other about the dangerous conditions and actions of folks venturing down the cliff and closer to the raging ocean for a better view and photos. Good from far, far from safe. Remember that if the area is wet you are not in a safe place.
